You guys are the best. I wish I could post a plate of brownies for everyone who takes time to help and comment about this whole book thing. So, lol, believe it or not, even though everyone is saying different colors, this has helped me! I'm starting to feel a pull toward warmer colors. I think I'm going to multi-color it. You'll see..... I HAVE to finish this by tonight, so check tomorrow when I post what I've come up with. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Seriously.
When I'm flicking through the kids' books in the library or bookshop, I need something to arrest me. The white background shows off the vivid colours of the animals without competition, though I can also see the complimentary effect of the pale yellow that Ramona refers to.
White or yellow.
ReplyDeletedef reddish or orange. hippo is too purpley... should be a little more subdued.
ReplyDeleteWhite
ReplyDeleteMe gusta yellow...
ReplyDeleteI really like the yellow, but green is my second favorite.

ReplyDeleteI like Purple green and Orange
ReplyDeletegreen is most appealing.

ReplyDeleteI prefer the yellow or white background. White keeps it simple. Yellow is the complimentary colour to the purple hippo.
ReplyDeleteWhite (best) or yellow (second best).

The warm colors definitely make it pop!
ReplyDeleteI vote white :).
ReplyDeleteWhite or yellow
ReplyDeleteYellow. I agree with Kristy that we want warm colors. White doesn't give you that, although it beats blue or green.
